Some of the improvements that have been installed on the new Audi are more lines on the hood, a bumper with new fog trapezoid-shaped lamps redesigned, a new grille of single-frame six-corner which is painted grey on the models powered by engines 4 cylinders and black on the six-cylinder models, a rear chrome new bumpers with tailpipe twinsa new series of projectors, just as the A5 remaniéet of new lights featuring LED technology.
As for the Department of performance, we find the brand new TFSI four-cylinder 1.8 litres delivering 125 kW (170 hp) and 320 Nm (236.02 lb - ft) of torque. Thus also important is the average consumption in the A4 sedan which is limited to 5.6 litres per 100 km (42.0 U.S. mpg) or 134 grams of CO2 per km (215.65 g/km). The entry level gasoline engine is the 1.8 TFSI with 88 kW (120 hp). The 2.0 TFSI engine offers 211 hp, at the top of the 3.0 TFSI offers 272 hp and 333 hp on the S4 line (same as before). For diesel engines, the famous engine TDI 2.0 offers 100 kW (136 hp) and has a fuel consumption of only 4.2 litres of fuel per 100 km (56.0 U.S. mpg) on average - a CO2 equivalent just 112 grams per kilometre (180.25 g/km). The same engine is available with 163 hp and has a fuel consumption of 4.4 litres of diesel per 100 km (53.46 U.S. mpg).
And in addition to this, three other four-cylinder diesel engines are available - with 88 kW (120 hp), 105 kW (143 hp) and 130 kW (177 hp). The 3.0 TDI engine is also available at the delivery of 150 kW (204 HP) (step for the allroad quattro) and 180 kW (245 hp).
For all this, you can expect some serious Awards, but again, Audi has tendency to surprise us with the price they set. For 2012 Audi A4 the cost starts at 35 425 euros.
