Right-six engines were introduced much earlier than the V6 engines. While the first line right-six was made in 1903 by Spyker, it was 1950 before an engine production V6 was introduced.
More than that, because of the fact that they remain faithful to the strategy of downsizing, considering to launch a new twin-turbocharged V-8 moving just 4 0-litres, scheduled in 2015.
It is very possible, according to a source of technical departments of Mercedes-Benz, which the automaker will begin as soon as possible production straight-sixes, and there is also a chance for these engines to be produced in configurations both single and double turbo, to replace their V8 engines.
The new right-sex engines will be able to most of the larger cars from the Mercedes-Benz, such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class variants and class m and M-class derivative SUV, as aware of cultures ot V ^-power plants.
There is apparently nothing to do for us but wait and see if Mercedes plans will achieve and if so, how they will behave.
