In 2000, when the Fiat Coupé has been removed, the company was left with no other Cup to boast of his line. But then, Peter Norris, British designer seems to have hit on an idea to fill the void of a model of inventory of Fiat sports car. However, with the car proudly carrying the badge of Pininfarina, which seems more likely is a sport which will be more luxurious car that as a new generation of the affordable Fiat Cup.
According to currently available information, the new Fiat will be that a motor front wheel rear drive sports car luxury that will have the essence of Italian society, as we know of. That we get the layout, we can say that the car would be more than a successor to the RWD Fiat Dino 1960's rather than late 1990s FWD Fiat Coupe that was designed by Chris Bangle.
The cut should have a sleek profile and a very low roof, which will be the wheels to seems huge. The massive wheel arches makes also the car an aggressive attitude, while the front end, especially form headlights and bumpers upright reminds us of the modern Aston Martins. The back is too but also attractive with its units light LED in the form of c with the exhaust pipes aligned around the Centre.
Peter Norris explained that the project started out as: "a reboot of the Fiat Cup", which undertook to develop a current version of the car. However, an owner of Cup ex-Fiat himself, he changed his mind at halfway so that emerged in the end is a luxury coupe, bringing in Pininfarina badges on the car.
"I used to own a Fiat Coupe 16v Turbo, and while frequently, she broke down and will cost me a fortune in repair bills, I did not just not the heart to get rid". I turn my head every time that a pipe before me, "said Norris while addressing Carbodydesign."
He also continues to add: "the Pininfarina style inside as outside overflow with Italian flair just really was and is always different from anything else on the road.". Some people will be referred as a "baby Ferrari". So I started to draw ideas for a Fiat Coupe for 2012. After roughing out the body 3D I changed my mind and decided that I wanted to build something that was more a luxury, not a budget sports car and asked what could look like a car designed by Pininfarina under its own badge, and if it evolved from there. »
