The Chrysler 300 SRT8 of 2012. Image: Chrysler Group, LLC - Ralph Gilles is a type of car which loves to drive, and is pretty good fuck. He competed in a tour of America and the Targa Newfoundland, to name a few events out of my head. Talk with him and soon you realize he rather be sweating in three layers of Nomex, preparing for the door in a competitor in the end, than sitting in a conference room discussing numbers with the head of group Chrysler Sergio Marchionne. Even so, as the designer head of Chrysler Group LLC and the former Managing Director of the Dodge brand, which is how Gilles spent most of his days. I say spent, because things are changing in Chrysler; Thanks to a management shuffle, Gilles has been appointed CEO of the brand of the SRT in Chrysler, and that is exactly where we need it.

The SRT division covers products of Dodge Challenger (charger), Chrysler (300) and Jeep (Grand Cherokee) and also is responsible for running enterprise racing efforts. Search for SRT to expand its product line, from entry level products are represented by misfortune and to increase their racing efforts. Dodge has always been a believer in the philosophy of "win on Sunday, sell on Monday", and there is an excellent opportunity for participation in professional careers.

I had opportunity to meet Gilles last February, and it struck me as the perfect man to lead a division of performance cars. He assured me that they were good things in the pipeline, and this is further proof that Chrysler is in the right direction. Congratulations, Mr. Gilles and here is to wish him every success in his new role.
