BMW had recently implemented some special editions. However, while some or all of them sound too good to be true, it does not imply that it is unable to paint the town red in the ideas that were left behind the manufacture of these sedans. The first outcome was the M3 pick up which was certainly a joke. The second is the BMW M3 Royal Edition and there is now a third. The concept of Lightweight M3 is said to make a first album in the M Festival to be held in 24-hour Niurburgring race in the second half of the year. It is somewhat a relief that many do not actually think that this is a joke. It is assumed its looks that might be the reincarnation of the BMW M3 CSL limited version with emphasis on the same limited weight.
The new BMW M3 lightweight concept is an alternative cut to the cup of the M3 GTS. Clearly, BMW, emphasis for this particular sedan is to reduce the weight, if no details were released on his actual weight so far. Currently the only item of information available is that the future version of M3 will be somewhere between M3 and M3 GTS. However, delivered power will be close to the traditional 420 HP with tweaks implemented in braking, suspension and a maximum rate of performance exhaust system. It is the only details came out for the light version of M3. More details will be automatically available on the site of 24 hours of Nurburgring June when the car is unveiled. During this time, the mark m and Alpina Manager for the United States, Mr. Matt Russell revealed in an interview with M3Post at the New York Auto show that there is no plan now to launch the M3 Lightweight on the American market. The reason is simple: it is no time left to agree with the construction of the E90 M3. Then there is the other factor of approval is necessary but not easy to achieve. BMW did not obtain the M3 certified at the United States.
As a consolation, BMW is still earning parts and supplies which will insert it just with the regulations common to the United States. It is the hope for us to always be able to obtain the M3 GTS on the market.
