The days pass and move forward to the moment that Mercedes-Benz takes the veil on the sixth generation SL-Klasse. The last model of Mercedes, 2012 SL, is set to debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show, 2011, in September.

It seems Mercedes engineers work hard to make this new model ready for the official unveiling of this fall and we can see the results in the latest Spy photos.

Of course, the official debut would not be possible with a few kilos of camouflage, but now that the situation is somewhat different from the last one we had the chance to see. In the recent photos this new models appears to be better prepared for the debut. As we approach the first, the car to make his appearance with less camouflage.

The Autoevolution Spy photographers have managed to bring a new set of photos of the prototype with some camouflage surrender, so that we can get better see the general shape of the next SL.

One interesting thing is spyware that Autoevolution photographers say that SL was in a group of vehicles that included an Aston Martin Vantage Roadster and a XK Jaguar, probably for benchmarking purposes.

So far, no official details on this car have been released, so that we will have to settle with the little that we know.

Is not yet clear, but the SL will be probably lighter than its predecessor, with intensive use of reinforced plastic and carbon fibre components. It will feature an array of Central Benz, including a new 3.5-litre V6 and a 4.6 litre V8 double turbo.
