The new 2012 Honda CR - V is not defined for sale until the end of the year, but the new ramp was previewed in concept and it is safe to say that the upcoming version of the production look closely the visible rows here today.
"With a new design, inside and outside, the new features and new opportunities, the CR - V 2012 will set a new standard for the class", explains a Honda press release.
For the moment no technical details were released, but expect to front-wheel drive as standard, as an engine of four-cylinder 2.4-litre naturally aspirated with output ranging somewhere between 180 and 200 horses. Fuel economy should also better 21/28 mpg city/highway of the pull model found in the current range. The AWD versions should return slightly worse figures.
Also the debut date was not specified yet, but the 2012 Honda CR - V production should go on sale at the end of the year, probably with a first album at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2011 in November.
