More than 20,000 trucks and sport utility vehicles recalled by Ford

The Ford Motor Company announced that more than 20,000 SUVs and trucks will be remembered for United States because a defective switch that can cause failing in the brake lights, tail lights and turn signals.


The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, said Wednesday on its website that the recall affects some 2004 through 2011 Ranger pickups, 2002-2005 Excursion SUV and 2002-2007 F-250, 350, 450 à 550 trucks.


The Ford Motor Company, in addition to the 20.450 trucks assigned to the United States, is recalling more than 6,000 switches sent to dealers as spare parts.


It appears that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ford Motor Company have not received further complaints switches and no accidents or injuries have been caused by this problem.


Ford Motor Company will notify owners and dealers on recalling them and the replacement of the part will be free.
