One of the points of sale of magnificent Cadillac CTS Coupe and sedan was that even modestly engine models can be ordered with a box of fila-TI - you. Buy a return or CTS of Premium package with the 3.6 l V6 engine, and you can select a six-speed manual or an automatic speed six. Even base, 3.0 litres equipped cars could be requested with a manual transmission, which gave bragging rights of Cadillac and the ability to counter European sport sedans sales. Competitive products of Audi and BMW gave buyers the option of a stick or a slushbox, and as a manual transmission option was the key to the Cadillac market positioning one (even if most buyers opted for the automatic). It has changed for 2012, and if you're looking to buy a litre of 3.0 or 3.6 liter Cadillac CTS with a manual transmission, you're in luck. Insufficient demand manual transmission has forced GM to cease production, it is simply not profitable to build cars that customers want to buy. Given that there is no significant difference in other mechanics between the cars of 2011 and 2012, you can still get lucky purchases of inventory from Distributor for a 2011 CTS equipped with manual transmission or sedan Coupe.

The change doesn't impact models of Cadillac CTS-V that continue to be available with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Even the Sportwagon CTS-V can be ordered with a manual transmission, what power only 556, fila-TI - you family in the market today. Ironically, the CTS-V record Nürburgring lap time was established in an automatic car equipped with the transmission in "Sport" mode. The automatic is certainly faster, but not be is where nearly as satisfying to the unit.
