The reason to upgrade to a Mercedes - Benz C63 AMG is indeed rare and yet given the correct secondary market components added to the car the result was considered a strong improvement in performance at the least, if not other aspects. The upgrade was carried out at the request of Keith Brantley, who approached the tuning firm modern Horsepower for a complete overhaul of its C63 AMG.
What was going on was the fastest C63 AMG in the world, on the tab "red brown arrow." Stage 3CMR package that has been applied on the car has transformed the car mechanically. The engine is now a V8 naturally aspirated of development 652 HP and 595 lb torque pi is 807 Nm. This means a gain of 201 HP and 152 lb ft or 206 Nm on the base model.
In the case where nitrous oxide is added to the fuel engine developing 900 hp which takes the C63 AMG at top speeds of 135.37 or 218 km/h while taking 10.41 seconds at the acceleration of a quarter of a mile. These data were received when the car made a test on road at Maryland International Raceway which was when it was equipped with a 125 hp nitrous oxide shot March 25.
Subsequent test runs that the car achieved a factor of acceleration of 3.04 seconds for the sprint from 0-60 km/h. From 0 to 100 km/h or 160 km/h, run it took seconds 6.59 which improves the furiously fast Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 by 1.2 seconds. The modified C63 also won the ZR-1 Corvette and a Porsche Carrera GT at the commands Top Gun mile event run
However, the owner is not satisfied with just these improvements in performance and wants some cams, better tires & wheels and slightly larger nitrous jets and I hope that set the bar a little higher next time out.
