Bugatti 16 c Galibier sedan have been disabled for production by VW Group

Bloomberg reports that Volkswagen has granted approval to the Bugatti for the construction of the sedan model 16 C Galibier. The information was obtained by the magazine from two sources confirmed. The Galibier had been posted in the form of concept at the 2010 Geneva Auto show event. Cost of the car was estimated at about 1 million euros, or $ 1.4 million with a power supply of an earth shattering 1000 hp.


Wolfgang Duerheimer, who heads the Bugatti and Bentley had been stressing on approval for the production of the Galibier since having supported. Ultra luxury sedan would be built at the factory in Molsheim in France. This is the site where the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is currently made.


There would need to update the installation of this new model for the delivery of the cars could be fixed to 2013 or 2014. For the engine of the car would have the cylinder 8.0 litres 16 with two stage supercharger. It's the same engine that is mounted on the Veyron 16.4. There is the possibility of the engine running on ethanol in the case of the Galibier.

As the Veyron 16.4 this one also is a unit of disk wheel flour and the Veyron 16.4 would stop manufactured production once the Galibier begins.


The Veyron had begun in 2005 with 50 units built each year and the total number of units must be was limited to only 300 make the exclusive car in nature.
