Do remember that the intersection of concept of Minagi Mazda showed us at the Geneva Motor Show this year? Does that drew rave reviews from journalists and the public in general? Mazda has confirmed that the replacement of its aging that tribute SUV indeed will be based on the concept of Minagi and in accordance with current naming conventions will be called the CX-5. The crossover Kodo-design-theme will make his American debut in New York of the motor show week, while the first sample of the production of about CX-5 is planned for September's Frankfurt Auto Salon.
The CX-5 is expected to join the Mazda product line sometime in 2012 and will be the first of a series of new or revised product combustible mix of "skyactiv" of Mazda saving technology with its language of design of Kodo. Expect more releases of Mazda, concerning "skyactiv" suite of technologies and the subject of design Kodo in current months. The manufacturer has been strangely quiet in recent months, but I feel that it is changing.
