The Shanghai Auto Show this year 2011 attended the presentation of the Concept by Mercedes Benz class. The concept car marks the advent of a new generation of compact car of the Stuttgart company founded. The concept car is a long hood and a thin greenhouse with a relatively low silhouette. The car drift power of gasoline four cylinder which is a recent development at Mercedes. The rantings of direct injection engine and turbo charging that make them capable of producing high performance with minimum fuel consumption and emissions.
Rated power of the engine is an impressive 155 kw or 210 HP, carried out by the use of a version of two litres of blue efficiency power unit. The unit works in tandem with the new dual clutch of Mercedes Benz.
Another interesting feature with the Concept of class is the incorporation of the collision warning system which makes it a first in the segment compact and greatly reduces the risk of a rear collision. The radar system controlled and comes packed with brake assistance (assistance prevention of Collision is the acronym of CPA).
Dr Zetsche said the system of prevention of rear-end collisions: "we will propose this system as standard in our new generation of compact cars." Overall, we bring four variants of models on the market.
