Production of the third quarter seen by Volkswagen AG will begin at its Martorell plant near Barcelona. This would create approximately 700 new employment opportunities and Volkswagen made this work for the Audi brand sister.
An agreement was signed between the Ministry of trade and employment and seat in which headquarters would train new workers to build the Q3 of the Catalan Government.
1 200 people would be trained in this process and the final work created for 700 people. Later this year, workers would be employed in the payroll company lists.
There is a guarantee of 1 500 jobs at Headquarters and completely out of the total of 700 would be the new positions.
Audi reported that investment would be for an amount of 300 million euros ($425 million) to ensure that the plant is capable of reaching its ability to target of 100,000 Q3s per year.
