Each year Jeep and Mopar work together to launch the annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari concept vehicles. Last year saw eight concepts, ranging from the mild (such as the Wrangler stripped-down but tough 17) for the conservation of nature (such as the Jeep Nukizer van that everyone, myself included, want to see in production). This year, Jeep has set things back a notch, perhaps because the budget is a little stricter than in recent years. Jeep had leaked two images of vehicles in Moab, but it would not surprise me a bit if presented with more on the event. Until now, the journey of aspect more cool is the concept of chop you see above. Ideal for blasting through canyons of sandstone in the spring, the chop is a little drafty for winter in the North-East service. I am a lover of the minimalist general appearance, but I'm really digging the wheels in style pair of thrust, which look sick in the Jeep of bare bones. I say shot a bikini top on it and call it done; Hell, even give some seriously, since it's not like we got snow in Jacksonville.
Below is the "renegade", which seems a standard with a lift kit Wrangler and some graphics vinyl at first sight. Look again, especially in the hood. View that bundle? There is something wrong lurks, and I guess is the Hemi 392 yanked from the new charger / Challenger SRT-8. I know that such a Jeep has built for "evaluation Executive", and I suspect that Jeep used the annual Moab event to measure the reaction of customers to a Wrangler Hemi engine-powered. Personally, I think that the liter of 6.4 heavier Hemi is excessive, but certainly I could see the Hemi 5.7 litres padding below the fenders of Wrangler. If enough people like the idea of a Hemi powered Wrangler, this particular beast can be seen in the not too distant future production.
