KIA planning to take on the MX-5

There was buzz doing tours for the past six months on the Kia out with a model that lend itself to competition of the Mazda MX - 5. KIA marked its presence in the automotive world with a boom in sales because of the various models made by it, namely the Kia Soul and Kia Forte and even the Kia's Sedona. Its European CEO Paul Philpott confirmed the expansion of its range of minibuses up to a recent interview.

In his words: "I would like to have a Kia MX r.s." 2011 and 2012 are on the establishment of the brand. "But for 2013 and 2014, we think in connection of the halo models that extend from the front company."

The sports roadster that the company plans to go out with would be a "tiger nose" grille by chief designer Peter Schreyer and also confirmed that the model would be more aggressive by like that none of the existing models. They have plans of the design to the concept of KCV - III of the 2003 Kia, who had been exposed at the Auto Show in Frankfurt in his debut to keep business. The concept design was intended to attract generation y and should be a good starting point for the future model.

It is being assumed that the engine is a 1.4 litre unit that can generate 200 hp, which is the same as found in the MX-5. One speaks also roadster Kia with a hybrid version as well.
